Dominican Rep. Santiago League round 8 best performance: Victor Liz

Shooting guard Victor Liz (193-SG-86, agency: BMS Sport Agency) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for CPN, receiving a Hoops Agents Santiago League Player of the Week award for round 8.
The 34-year old player was the main contributor (28 points, five rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat CDP (#1, 4-1) 100-85. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. CPN maintains the 3rd position in Dominican Rep. Santiago League. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. CPN will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Rodriguez has a great season in Dominican Republic. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 1.5apg (9th best).
